Captain Alexander Barkov says the Florida Panthers have “no quit" after they came back from 3-0 down to take a 3-2 series lead in their Eastern Conference series.
The Panthers, 9/2 to win the Stanley Cup, produced a second comeback in the matter of days against the Washington Capitals to give themselves a chance to progress to round two on Friday.
Florida were 2.04 away from losing game four on Monday before scoring with the goalie pulled and then winning in overtime. The three-goal turnaround in game five came with 34 minutes remaining, something they became renowned for in the regular season.

The Panthers won the Presidents' Trophy as the NHL's best regular season team after enjoying the most successful campaign in their franchise history (58-18-6).
Of those Florida victories, 29 in the regular season were come-from-behind wins, tying the NHL record.
Between the regular season and playoffs, the 'comeback cats' earned six three-goal comeback wins, which is the most by any team in NHL history.
Barkov has five points (one goal, four assists) in the playoff series after recording 88 points (39 goals, 49 assists) in the regular season.
If Florida are able to eliminate the Capitals, it'll be their first post-season series win since they reached the Stanley Cup Final in 1996.
Barkov commented on the comeback win in game five, saying: "We've been doing that all year. We never give up. There's no quit in our room. We know when we play the right way, we'll have all the chances to win the game."
