Canada, the reigning Olympic women's soccer champions, is bringing a strong squad to the 2024 edition of the tournament.
In Tokyo at the last Olympics, Canada finished second in its group, behind Great Britain, with one win and two draws.
The team won two of its three knockout stage games on penalties - including the final against Sweden - and defeated the United States by a 1-0 score in the semifinals thanks to a Jessie Fleming penalty.

Bev Priestman is the Canada Women's National Soccer Team's head coach.
Hailing from England, she played for former Canada head coach John Herdman and coached Canadian women's youth teams before becoming an assistant to Phil Neville during his tenure as England women's head coach. From there, she got the Canada head coaching job.
