The Canada Men's Basketball Team will play in the Olympics for the first time in 24 years when they take the court in Paris, France this summer.
Team Canada secured its best-ever FIBA World Cup finish, earning a bronze medal thanks to a 127-118 overtime win over the United States in the third-place game.
The team will look to carry that momentum into this summer's Olympics.

Jordi Fernandez, who led Canada to third place in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, will coach the team in the 2024 Olympics. He was named the new head coach of the Brooklyn Nets on April 22, 2024.
Previously, Fernandez worked as an assistant with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Denver Nuggets and the Sacramento Kings. He also worked as an assistant with the Cavs' G-League team, the Canton Charge, and worked his way to become the head coach from 2014-2016.
