Canada is +145 to win the 4 Nations Face-Off following their opening 4-3 overtime victory against Sweden, and ahead of their all-important clash with Team USA on Saturday night.
The Canadians entered the tournament as favourites, but drop below the United States (+100) in the betting after the Americans' dominant 6-1 win over Finland on Thursday.
USA vs. Canada will get underway at 8 PM ET on Saturday, February 15 from Bell Centre in Montreal. The game will air on Sportsnet in Canada.
Canada's 4 Nations Face-Off got off to a blistering start Wednesday when Nathan MacKinnon put the hosts ahead within 56 seconds against Sweden. Goals from Brad Marchand, Mark Stone and Sweden's Jonas Brodin brought the score to 3-1 entering the third period.
But it was the Swedes who came out firing in the third, scoring twice through Adrian Kempe and Joel Eriksson Ek before the 10-minute mark to even the score at 3.
Of course, it was Sidney Crosby who proved the difference in overtime, setting up Marner's winner 6:06 into the period. Crosby finished as the star of the game with three assists.
The win earned Canada two points in the standings, where they currently sit second behind the USA ahead of Saturday's giant clash.
