Evil Geniuses have announced the signing of Timothy "autimatic" Ta, bringing them one step closer to completing their 2022 roster.
He will join up with former team-mate Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, with whom he won the ELEAGUE Boston Major, with autimatic making his triumphant return to CS:GO after a year on T1's VALORANT roster
Although not yet official, it's widely reported that William "RUSH" Wierzba will also be joining Evil Geniuses, with the American also being part of that Cloud9 roster that shocked the world in Boston.

The signing marks autimatic's return to CS:GO after a year playing VALORANT, where he failed to secure any silverware on T1's roster. He had made the switch after bouncing between several short-lived lineups, most recently Gen.G in late 2020.
Prior to the switch, autimatic was one of North America's most successful players, winning the aforementioned Boston Major and earning an MVP medal during Cloud9’s ESL Pro League Season 4 run.
As well as joining up with Stewie2K, he will be teaming up with the two surviving members of Evil Geniuses previous roster, Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov. Damien "maLeK" Marcel has taken up coaching duties after joining from G2.
Evil Geniuses will hope this new roster can aface the memory of a dismal 2021, which saw them plummet outside the world's top 30. They last tasted success in August 2020, when they captured ESL One Cologne 2020 North America.
The news of their final signing is likely to surface in the very near future, as Evil Geniuses are scheduled to play Vitality in BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022 on January 30th.
